"T
he right recruitment...

1. Know what you want

- What do you want to see in the individual?

- What is the role, and what are the responsibilities?

- How do the interviewee fit into the business,

2. Be analytical

The words chosen by the candidate will help decide which 'colour' best defines their personality:

- 'RED' people are extroverted, strong, dominant personalities who take action. They are generally driven by success and money and will strive for perfection. 'Red' people are generally good at selling.

- 'YELLOW' people, like 'red'people, are extroverted and dominant, but they are also talkative, social, gregarious and loved to be loved. They enjoy the limelight, but aren't so hot on detail, organisation and writing things down. 'Yellow' people enjoy public speaking and to be marketeers, trainers and consultants (and the life and soul of any party!).

- 'GREEN' people are more refined, reflective and introverted. They are more in touch with their emotions and feelings and are motivated by a sense of belonging and helping others. They can make great managers.

- 'BLUE' people, like green people, are reflective and introverted, but they are also analytical. They question things and need time to reflect on decisions. They are well suited to financial, analytical or technical roles.

3. Make joint decisions

4. Go into detail, ask for specifics

What results did they achieve? What motivated them to achieve those results? Why?

5. Get a mix  of different types of people across the company

Diversity is crucial to optimise dynamics.

6. Use your intuition

7. Steer people in the right direction

8. Go to know people as individuals first

9. Empower your team with decision-making responsabilities

10. Celebrate group successes together

I am hugely motivated by seeing a whole team succeed, and so are others within my teams. It's motivating to share achievements, engage in them and celebrate them together.
